Help with Story Books
How do I start a book?
Books are prepared inside the Aura app. Open their Story, choose One Year or Whole Story, pick the pages, then tap to order. Aura opens a private link here.
Why do I need to sign in?
The private link proves Aura sent you, but not who you are. Signing in with the same Aura account keeps the book with the person who prepared it.
Is printing included in my Aura subscription?
The $99 Story Book (+ shipping and tax) includes 1 year of Founding Family, starting only after the $99 payment succeeds. It does not auto-renew. Already subscribed through Apple or Google? That subscription continues separately until you cancel it; the included year does not pause or cancel store billing. Extra copies are purchased separately.
What does a QR in the book open?
Only the one Moment on that page, with the access you chose in Aura. It never opens the full Story, other pages, editing or family membership.
Who can scan a QR?
“Anyone holding the book” lets the holder hear that one Moment. “Family only” requires someone already added to the Story in Aura. You can change either, or remove the QR, before approving your proof — and revoke a page anytime in Aura.
Can someone else pay?
Yes — the person who prepared the book can invite a gift payer. Paying doesn’t give access to the Story, editing or QR settings.
What if something is wrong with my book?
If it arrives damaged, or doesn’t match the proof you approved, email hello@first24.io within 14 days and we’ll replace it. See the print policy for details.
Do you send photos or voices to the printer?
Only the printable pages you approve. Voices and videos stay in Aura and are heard through the page’s QR.
