Secure Enclave Lock

Your seal's signing keys are generated inside your iPhone's Secure Enclave — a physically isolated chip that even Apple can't read out. The keys never touch the internet, never leave your phone, and can't be extracted even if your phone is jailbroken.
Living-Tissue Proof

Aura captures six biological signals simultaneously — heart rhythm, micro-tremor, breathing, thermal contact, vocal harmonics, gait. Only a living human in motion produces all six in coherent phase. Spoof rigs that imitate one or two channels fail the cross-modal coherence test.

Your seals live on YOUR phone, encrypted with keys only your Face ID can release. Aura's servers literally do not have the keys to your data. We can't read it, we can't hand it over, we can't sell it. The court order ends at our front door.
Hash-Chained Receipts
Editing any frame of any seal breaks the chain instantly.
Every seal is linked backward to the previous seal via a cryptographic hash. Tampering with a single byte changes the hash, which breaks the chain, which is mathematically detectable to any reviewer with the public key. Plaintiff's counsel can't argue you back-dated entries.
Zero-Knowledge Export
Prove what they need. Reveal nothing more.
When you send a seal to Uber's appeal team, they see what they need — “she was at the 7-Eleven on Main St at 2:14 PM on March 4” — but never your raw biometric data, never your pattern of life, never your other rides. Cryptographic proof, not blanket discovery.
App Attest
A fake Aura app can't sign real Aura seals.
Apple's App Attest framework verifies that every seal was signed by an unmodified Aura running on a real Apple device. Counterfeit apps, sideloaded copies, and emulators are rejected at the signature layer. Same anti-counterfeit chain that protects Apple Pay transactions.
